Peter Spatar began his career working as an auditor at Deloitte’s Kyiv office in 2006. He then headed the investment banking division in a leading Ukrainian investment bank, taking an active role in several equity capital markets deals. Under Mr. Spatar’s leadership the team closed a number of major transactions in capital markets and mergers and acquisitions.
Peter has a Masters in Economics from the University of Bath (UK), and is a regular member of the CFA Institute.
Jon McKee QueenVice President
Jon McKee Queen has 15 years of financial sector experience, during which time he has served on the Board of Directors of several companies. Mr. Queen began his career as a licensed securities representative for John Hancock Financial Services in New York. After graduating law school, he worked for several years as an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP and participated in numerous large public and private sector financial transactions worth over $2 billion.
Mr. Queen departed Latham to work in the Hong Kong commodities and trading sector, first as Senior Vice President to the International Environmental Trading Group, then as Executive Director to The Anemone Group. He served as an official advisor to the National Agency of Ecological Investments of Ukraine from 2008 until 2010. Mr. Queen also worked on Capitol Hill for the United States House Banking and Financial Services Committee during President Clinton’s administration.
Jon holds an Economics degree from Cornell University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a Certificate of Study in Business & Public Policy from Wharton Business School.
